More than 95 percent of affected third-graders met Ohio’s new reading test standards last year, qualifying  them to be promoted to fourth grade this year, according to full school district data released Wednesday afternoon by the Ohio Department of Education.

Student’s hard work and accomplishments were celebrated during the 1st Quarter Awards Assembly on October 27, 2014. Recognitions were given for outstanding efforts in all core subjects, citizenship, most improved, perfect attendance, PRIDE/DOJO, and student of the quarter. One student from each homeroom was selected for their outstanding overall attitude, behavior, character, and hard work throughout the 1st quarter of the school year. To close the ceremony, three levels of honor roll awards were presented. Congratulations to everyone!
